Johan is one of our German customers and he purchased a batch of portable chargers in April and received feedback on the use of portable chargers during the sales process: When using the Mode 2 EV cable PCD030, the user found that a green circle appeared on the charger screen. On the one hand, he thought it might indicate that the charger had some unknown failure. On the other hand, in his cognition, green was a symbol of luck, which might also indicate that the charger was running well. The user expressed doubts about this problem, so Johan contacted us for help.
After receiving the feedback, Johan assisted BESEN to ask the user for a photo of the charger when it was charging. From the photo, it can be clearly seen that a green circle with a symbol in the middle appears in the lower right corner of the charger screen near the center. This is actually a ground symbol of the charger. In order to ensure the safety of the charger during use, each of our chargers requires that the circuit in the user's home is well grounded. When the charger is well grounded, the green circle on the charger screen will light up. At this time, as long as we connect the charger to the car, the car can be charged normally. In addition, if there is a ground fault in the circuit connected to the charger, our charger will display an exclamation mark beside the ground sign to remind the user of connecting to the correct circuit. We shared our findings with Johan. He was happy to learn this information and told us that he would continue to purchase our products.
The grounding problem of the charger tends to be ignored, but it is very important for the safe use of the charger. However, due to the different batches of products, some products have a ground symbol displayed on the charger screen while some don’t. Please don't worry. Every Besen product is equipped with a grounding safety protector.
