THE CHALLENGE
The quality of Mode 3 EV cable mainly depend on the performance of the charging plugs, including waterproofness, robustness, stability, and versatility.
THE SOLUTION
BESEN's plugs adopt the unique integrated design to withstand vehicle's crushing and have better waterproofness and are therefore suitable for use in various outdoor environments.
For outdoor use, the plug is easy to adhere to impurities such as ash layer which may lead to electric arcs and cause safety hazards when it is powered on. To solve this problem, unique reed design is adopted in the plug's terminals, which can clean the impurities well during the plugging and unplugging process without wearing the surface coating of the terminals so as to achieve self-cleaning and prevent the generation of arcs.
Although the inlets on the car are generally produced in accordance with the interface standards, certain car models are not entirely standardized in terms of the inlet interface. Therefore some charging plugs don’t fit those cars well. However, BESEN have accumulated a lot of data in numerous cases and tests, enabling us to constantly optimize the structure of the subtle parts of the plug to ensure that our plugs can be perfectly connected to each vehicle.
When customers require customized services, we'll recommend cables of different colors to match their LOGOs, which not only better fits the customers' brand image, but also makes their products more special and distinctive.
Besides, the spring wires appear to be more high-end in certain use scenarios.
SUMMARY
Although Mode 3 EV cable is a relatively simple charging product, the requirement for product quality isn’t as low. In fact, a high-quality charging cable can directly determine the grading of the brand. Differentiated charging cables can make customers' products stand out more easily in a market where all the cables products basically look the same.
